Sneak Peak!
Dec. 10th, 2011 02:21 pmI am working one a new story, it is HP. For those who are interested here is a sneak peak of it....
Author: Me, obviously.
Parings: Eventually: HP/DM(bottom)
Warnings: None.
Content: Dark!Harry, Powerful!Harry, Powerful!Draco, also Creature fic. That all I want to reveal.
What You Didn't See Sneak Peak. HP version.
I could tell everyone was surprised of the outcome except my mother, but I honestly didn't care. I continued to glare down at the brunette in disgust and disappointment. Did the idiot really think it would be that easy? Apparently so, as he was the one bleeding on the floor at the moment, not I.
I quickly closed the distance between us and grabbed a fistful of wild dark hair. I gained no pleasure from his wince of pain, or the fear in his misty green eyes. I honestly couldn't see why people praised him so. The brat really didn't deserve any of it, at least not yet. Potter had so much to learn, and knowing a few potions and how to act like a noble wasn't even covering the basics. In the situation Potter was in now, he already broke one important rule; showing me his fear.
"Well," I drawled easily, "I guess you weren't expecting that, huh?" I asked with a bright, and oh so sweet smile.
Potter didn't answer as he seemed to have lost the ability. He only was able to stare up at me with shock and fear. I frowned and tug hard on his hair making him grit his teeth.
"You do know that the polite thing to do after being asked a question is to answer right?" I asked with an innocent tilt to my head. The question did the trick, and green eyes were now glaring up at me with a dark intensity. Betrayal was clearly written in them, and it only manages to further piss me off. He really didn't have any right to look at me that way. After everything I've been through, he had no right to be the one who was feeling betrayed.
Potter tried to tug his hair out of my grip, but I only tighten it further and wrenched his head back. His forest green eyes harden, "Let go", he hissed out angrily. I could feel the pressure of his magic building up around him; it always reacted when he became too emotional. He really needed to work on that.
I made a dull 'tsking' noise, not the least bit effected by the threat, and jerked his head towards our audience. I gazed at there faces and rolled my eyes. Father, Tom, and Severus seemed to be the only ones not still in shock, though not really. They all obviously had no faith in my ability to hold my own against Potter, much less actually beat him.
I understand now why father was so opposed to me fighting Potter: He thought I would get humiliated after losing against him, the bastard.
I glared at him, and finally released the grip I had on Potters hair. It wouldn't do to damage a single hair on his little head, or else Tom would get all prissy again. He could be so over dramatic sometimes...all the times.
Potter immediately jumped to his feet and turned to me, his glare still present on his tan face. I could feel, and hear, his magic lash out with his emotions. The training room began to vibrate as a low, soft hum, sounded in the room.
Potter was letting his temper get the best of him again.
I let out a tired sigh. It would be near impossible to explain myself when he gets like this. He never wants to listen to reason.
I chanced a glance at mother, and at her nod, took off my bracelet seal. It would take more then just wandless magic to control him this time.
I grabbed a hold of his wrist and concentrated. My magic responded immediately to my command and began to slowly wrap around Potters. It took awhile, but I managed to pull Potters magic back into his core, while also calming him down with my own. Once done, I stepped away from him and without a word exited the training room with mother.
Well that is it folks. :)
I know it could still use some work, but tell me what you think, okay? I would really appreciate some feedback, as I'm still unsure of this story.
You should also know this isn't chapter one, and when I do post the fic this scene won't pop up after awhile.
