I want to rec a fic I read years ago. I loved it back then. I remember it made me sad and I was so hopeful that things would work out. When I read this fic almost 5 years ago, I wasn't in the habit of saving fics. I would read them once and that was it. I never forgot this fic. Over the years, at random moments, I would remember parts of the story. Finally, I sat down and hunted down the fic. Luckily, I didn't have to look too hard. I started to reread this fic and wanted to rec it. I hope you all enjoy it.
