Summary: Draco Malfoy decides that this year will be different. He will stand up to his father, stop getting irritated with his mother, give up smoking and find a suitable man. He chronicles his success (or lack thereof) in a diary.

This is absolutely perfect, MA! The adaptation of Bridget Jones's Diary to the Harry Potter world is one I've wanted to see for a very long time and this was flawlessly executed. I love how Harry wears his heart on his sleeve. What makes this fic one of my favorites is reading Draco's inner monologue. You kept his sarcasm and witty comebacks, but also managed to demonstrate his insecurities and self-doubt in a way that doesn't deviate far from canon Draco. I also loved the use of in vino veritas :)The art was a lovely surprise, too.

This was a corker, "Mystery" Author. You got the Bridget Jones voice to mesh beautifully with the Draco voice (how did no-one ever exploit their similarity before?) And Harry was perfect in the Darcy role. I loved the Bridget trademarks you adopted here: the hair counting, the embarrassing sexualised fancy dress, the comfort eating and the broken resolutions.

You also captured Draco / Bridget's charming vulnerability, the self-doubt and the neediness that makes Darcy / Harry's dependable decency so satisfying and reassuring. The art was sweet and added another facet to the story. This was a great prompt and a brilliant adaptation.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment - one of the hardest things in writing this fic was getting the voice right, as Bridget has such as distinctive voice, I had to try to get elements of that in here, while not losing Draco's voice. I wasn't sure it worked, so your comment made me so thrilled. Thank you!

Perfect, perfect! Funny and witty. From the very start this story had me laughing at Draco's resolutions, and all through it there were so many funny, sweet bits. You did a wonderful adaptation of the original. Instant favourite! <3 Loved the art, too. Harry's jumper was priceless. Everything here was simply perfect.

This was adorable! You translated Bridget Jones so perfectly! The way you infused the HP characters into the existing characters and plot was so well done. The fussing Malfoys were hilarious, especially as seen through Draco's eyes. Harry was so dear and noble, yet passionate and hot! Draco was completely loveable, bad habits and all.

This is a gem of a story, made even better by the fabulous art! Harry is perfect, and oh, Draco's eyes! *fans self* Whoever you are, you are brilliant.
