This really made my day. I always was curious about the paring, and was disappointed that most stories involved usually took on a more violent and darker route. I don't mind the 'dark' at all (actually prefer it), but the 'violent' was annoying.
I like how you brought the myth to life, and made it work nicely. This is definitely going in my memories.
