Is The Hex Files gone?

Hi fandom members,

Not sure who to ask, but is http://thehexfiles.net/ gone?  I bookmarked several fics but when I tried to access them today I received a " This web page is not available" message.  Not sure if this is a temporary site issue or a permanent one, as I remembered reading somewhere that certain HP fandom sites are being taken down.

Does anyone know :(

I think that problem had been solved with donations from fans all over the world.
With no notice beforehand this time, hopefully it's just temporary.

I don't think so. Sure, that blurb was from 2014, but the links don't work. Unless they moved...?

In this few months, the site had been working unsteadily. So I think we just need wait and see. I think it would come back.

I've got a bad feeling about all this as The Hexfiles is down too. Fingers crossed its just a blip and all will be working again soon.

Without warning like this it should only be temporary.It went down a few days ago and was up again in a few hours. The original problem was that they didn't have the money to keep running the site, but people donated and kept it alive for a few months at least. Wasn't it Sevfan who was running the site mostly? You could try to track them down, if it doesn't come back up in a few days :)

hex_companion says that they were going to move servers on Dec. 13, here. So hopefully it's just a glitch in the process.
