I was thinking of the same thing about genderbending. I love fem!Draco stories but I don't think I could write one without getting lost along the way, and many people don't find the idea appealing. Doing alpha/omega dynamics is actually a very good idea! It gives me all the freedom I need. Plus this way I can cross an A/B/O verse story off my checklist as well! I'll definitely look into this!
