Summary: Dominance is such a perfectly subjective notion, just like jealousy, fidelity or love. The one in control has the power, they say. Then again, isn't balance, in fact, what makes you strong?

This fic was written in response to the Death Day 2005 Ficathon on hpvamp as a gift to dracavia.

Now that it's posted all over, I want to dedicate it also to kuteki, because 1) she likes the pairing; 2) she did a great job on her exams; and 3) I enjoy making presents *g*
