People have always been coming and going, you got to remember to get a copy of fics you enjoy. Or do as I do, only read things after you've download them. I read most fics on my Kindle so it just makes sense to at least snag it for offline reading.

I'm guessing you're a copy&paste person? It's just a script, if you're using Firefox you can turn off javascript in the Inspect Element settings and that'll disable it. Though that will make the text have center-alignment for some reason... Anyway, you shouldn't even have the thought of C&P'ing in your head in this day and age, there's a lot of downloaders that keep up with the changes. And if worse comes to worst you can always just "Save Page As..." and get the HTML. It's a hell of a lot faster and you don't lose any formatting.

I highly recommend FanFicFare, it has a web version and a Calibre plugin so it's pretty convenient. And it has support for a crazy amount of archives.
Web: http://fanficfare.appspot.com
- You do need to have a Google account, it's just for saving history of what fics you've downloaded.
Calibre Plugin: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=259221
- The plugin doesn't need to be downloaded if you already have the latest Calibre, you just go into the plugin menu and turn it on. You can bulk download, convert, and manage the fics with this which is a time saver.
