I remember it was about Harry and Draco competing in a boy scout competition where they had to sell a certain amount of boxes and Harry got angry that Draco sold all of his quickly. Also, Draco used to go to Harry's birthday parties when they were little, but slowly as they grew older, Draco started to stop and it was found that Harry's parents told Draco that they didn't want him near Harry. Harry finds out that Draco still had his present for him stored away in a backpack and it was a video game I think. Does anyone know this story? Thank you to anyone who finds this. =)

I recognised this one straight away as I was one of the beta's on the earlier chapters lol. It's not quite as you described, it's a school charity drive rather than scouts and they have to collect the items to sell from the local community. Draco starts collecting early but is then excluded from the teams. The bit about the gift is spot on though, so I'm pretty sure it's Apologies by josephinestone

It wasn't an easy find! I knew it was Jo's but couldn't remember the title and her masterlist is long. Luckily I remembered it was a pinch-hit for a Christmas fest and found it in Owl Post =)
