Well you are very kind to say that! I really am very new to the fandom, and newer still to lj (maybe a month now, 9 months for the fandom as a whole). I haven't even taught myself basic stuff like lj cuts etc - when I write I tend to get a bit absorbed in that. I promise to teach myself how to post my stories on lj just as soon as bdcq is completed. I have my next fic all outlines and ready to go! I'm itching to start it!

I truly had no idea that quite so many people had been saying such nice things about this fic, and chasing the dragon, too. I'm completely blown away by the attention, but thrilled as well. I honestly have no idea how I didn't come across lj before now. I really have no idea what the potential is, here. I want to find some communities for posting my fics at where they can reach a broader audience than just on my own page and at archives. But most places seem to be invite only, and as I don't know many people, I don't really know how to pull strings to get the invites, you know? realy must take the time to scrutinise lj better.

As for the fics, well, what can I say? I love sex! I get a bit of hassle occasionally, because people seem to want me to write more than sex. I'm not great at plot, and I'm just not the sort of person who could write a straight attempt at book 7 or anything. I write purely for the pleasure of facilitating myself to write believable porn - that's it. Nothing highbrow, I'm afraid!

Thanks for your rec once again. If you can advise me anywhere I should go in lj to join, please feel free. Your advice will be appreciated.
