Mkay...this is the first HP fic I ever wrote (earlier this year) and I'm just getting up the cojones to post it. This'll be crossposted to hell and back, and I'm not sorry.

Please be brutally honest in your feedback (and please leave feedback). Your complaints will probably be the same as mine; this isn't my best work, but I'm the kind of writer who'll just declare a fic DONE and refuse to try to perfect it. Also, my Latin is a bit off and there may be a few little canon glitches--bear with me, there have been worse. Okay, that's enough of a warning.

I should add that this will have a sequel and a prequel. Eventually. They'll be much better than this one.
