We've had the Prologue, because I like prologues - and now we have Part One, where we find out a bit about the past and the present.

I was meant to get this bit betaed but my computer access might be a bit iffy for a while, so I thought I'd toss this out while I could.

Actually, it might be an idea to just post the rough work at the communities, and then the betas can do their stuff and then I'd post the pristine version on my journal. I don't mind the story being picked apart in the comment boxes and if I did, I won't be on livejournal. Then I don't have to worry about crappy computer access and even crappier email service.

But the thing is, I'd be subjecting the readers to my rough work and would I be able to live with myself? I wonder.
