Hi guys :)

First time posting in here, I'm looking for a story I think I found from this community ages ago, it was a rec/link someone had posted before.

It definitely had some character bashing in it. The premise was that the purebloods were unhappy about things run in England and they were leaving en masse which was leading to either a collapse of the economy (because they were all really wealthy) or a collapse in the magic of Britain? Maybe it was two separate fics that I'm remembering as one, but I'm not sure.

I vaguely remember the magic part somewhat like the old pureblood families being prejudiced because the muggleborn witches & wizards were draining on their magics (??). Basically the fabric of the country's magic was supported by several of the older families, but with more and more muggleborns joining the community, it was drawing heavier and heavier on the old families.

So yeah, that's what I remember, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
