Um...just wondering if there are any H/D fics with Harry as a Caparthian....I was reading a book on it and well....thanks in advance!!!

So, what's a Caparthian? Do you mean Carpathian, as in the region in Eastern Europe?

That would seriously be the most random fic search in the entire universe, but if she means something else, neither Google nor I can figure out what it is.

Do you mean Carpathian, as as in a Carpathian Vampire from the Christine Feehan books? I loved the first one, Carpathian vampires are very cool and the books very sexy.

I think I had found a story once about it but it was like someone just copied the whole book and inserted Harry and Draco in their places...no original writing. I was disappointed. A person should write their OWN story and not take someone else's and call it fan fiction. *grumbles*

Do you still have the link? I just wanna satisfy my itch...though it is disappointing that they didn't write their own story....isn't that really, really, like completely, plagarizing? Shame, shame!! But.....I'll take anything right now!!!!! *puppydogeyes*

Nope. Not the Carpathian Mountains but a type of demon/vampire. I believe they hunt vampires but they're a type of vampire....they drink blood/shapeshift, etc. They need a lifemate or they'll turn "dark" or evil. The lifemate is everything to the Carpathian.

You would probably have gotten faster results if you'd said to begin with that you were looking for a crossover with another series.

It's not a crossover. I was just looking for some fics with Harry as a Carpathian b/c of inheritance or something.

I recall vaguely some fic that had Harry as a singer and Draco as the vampire, and somehow Draco was attracted to Harry's voice because he made him feel. It was AU because Draco was ages older than Harry, and I don't recall if it had magic. I think the word Carpathian might have been used, but I don't know for sure. If that rings anyone's bell, I guess. You'd be better of searching for vampire fics with the probe towards Carpathians. Or... do you know where the creature feature listing is?

Much love for that series! There's tons of them! (Maybe not tons, but I know there's at least more than ten in the series) Just recently got the new one, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet.
