Smutty dream?

DISCLAIMER: Forgive the query fellow bottom_draco members and watchers, I know this is not bottom!Draco, but I wanted a smutty perspective on the passage below. It's research for a something I'm working on that is bottom_draco. Thanks... and simmysim, you can kick my butt on this one all you like. Let me know if you want this post ditched:*

So, my question to all of you, is do you think the passage below is a wet dream of sorts, full of metaphors instead of blatant language?

"Harry dreamed he was back in the DA room. Cho was accusing him of luring her there under false pretences; she said he had promised her a hundred and fifty Chocolate Frog Cards if she showed up. Harry protested ... Cho shouted, 'Cedric gave me loads of Chocolate Frog Cards, look!' And she pulled out fistfuls of Cards from inside her robes and threw them into the air. Then she turned into Hermione, who said, 'You did promise her you know, Harry ... I think you'd better give her something else instead ... how about your Firebolt?' And Harry was protesting that he could not give Cho his Firebolt, because Umbridge had it, and anyway the whole thing was ridiculous, he'd only come to the DA room to put up some Christmas baubles shaped like Dobby's head ..."


Would you believe this is in OotP (UK Chapter 21 Page 408, US Chapter21 page 462)?
lizardlaugh pointed out to me recently that a few of Harry's dreams are rather sexual in nature, after re-reading the above passage, and thinking about it in that context, and keeping in mind that JKR is not as puritanical as some of us in the USA, I thought damn, that's one wet dream, or the beginning of one if any.

You forgot the most important part. As the dream goes on, Harry turns into a snake and slithers down a hallway (the dream turns into the vision where Nagini attacks Arthur) - if *that* isn't Freudian, I don't know what is.

I was thinking about this some more, and it's actually an almost seminal scene for slashers - Harry doesn't want to give his "broomstick" to a girl, whereupon he turns into a snake and bites a man.

You should do a set of all Harry's dreams...
The one of Quirrell's turban telling him he should be in Slytherin, and Draco laughing at him, turning into Snape...chock full of metaphors!
Or the *cough* huge dragon riding. ;)

Draco? Probably too explicit to be put on paper! Most likely it involve phallic broomsticks, snakeheaded cane, masks, slithering snakes and beating Harry at Quidditch. Hee hee!
