A reader suggested that I put a pointer to my story Power over here. I'm going to include Whispers while I'm at it, as I think it also fits the theme.

Warnings: Somnophilia, tacit consent (other warnings by chapter)
Note: Draco is creating the situation, but Harry has most of the power once it gets going. I think Draco qualifies as a manipulative bottom.

Glad you liked it! If you enjoy Whispers too, I have a couple of others that are borderline; Girl Stuff and the Boys, for example, has a very femme Draco (cross-dressed), although no actual power games.

Power is a one-shot (because it would otherwise be several novels), but I have written part of a story that follows Whispers. At some point, I'll probably finish and post it.

Oh! I read "Whispers" quite some time ago and had totally forgotten that it was you.

This was my first time reading "Power." Yum! I liked this take on slytherin!harry, and how he rules the roost instead of Draco in that reality. Very hot and nicely written. I really like Draco's POV here.

Thanks! I only baredly restrained myself from doing the full Slytherin!Harry AU, because I couldn't help devising entire years of the timeline. I think "Whispers" is better really; "Power" is just hot. ;)

I had great fun with the Sorting Change challenge. (I still like the Ron one here: http://community.livejournal.com/hp100/911120.html.) There's a real arbitrary element to Sorting; pretty much any character you can argue for another house. Shouldn't Luna be a Gryffindor? Hermione a Ravenclaw? Percy a Slytherin? Perhaps what makes the Trio is that they're a Slytherin/Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff team in Gryffindor.

I have a particular soft spot for Slytherin!Harry as well as Ravenclaw!Draco, so I love those kind of AUs.

I just had a flashback to 4-H camp, where all of us campers were sorted into four different tribes/bunkhouses... I had totally forgotten about that. We competed for house points and all that. And my bunk won in my first year, but then some of the girls I was friendly with suddenly got all snooty, decided I wasn't good enough, and the next year actually schemed to get me booted to a different bunk. They tried to play various tricks on us, too, very Slytherin vs Gryffindor. How great was it when my bunk won that year, too? Sweet revenge.

Wow. I had completely forgotten that whole stage of my life. Funny ol' world, ennit?

One of those wonderful/horrible things, it sounds like.

My high school had a certain amount of administratively-induced competition between advisor groups and between dorms, often for genuine priveleges, rather than just awards. Hm ... I wonder if that's why I've never been able to take certificates and such seriously? If you don't all get the right to blow off a day's worth of work, what's the point, right? ;-)

Yeah. I didn't go back to that camp after that. I finally convinced my parents that the company of my age-peers was really not what I needed, and wouldn't I be better off going to daytime arts & music summer classes instead?

Whispers is seriously one of my favorite H/D stories of all time, and has been for a while. Even though I can tell its definately ended, I always hope for a sequel, or another chapter...please?

I actually have the plot for a sequel, but it's not very similar. It's also not one of my currently active projects, though I was looking at it a few days ago.

I absolutely adored Whispers, it had a great teasing build up... I love manipulate Draco as much as bottom Draco, and this had both *has a big grin*
