This will either seem thoughtful or absolutely absurd. And I hope my words will persuade you that I am not a violator of Rule Numba 4.

While writing a top!Draco fic, I realized that even though he was physically dominant he had little control over the relationship. I don't know whether the community bases the term bottom!Draco solely on whether Draco is bottoming during sex, but it occurred to me that there are other ways to bottom. Draco is paired with Harry here and Harry is very sympathetic and merciful to Draco's feelings, even if he does not return them; and though he lets Draco drag him around at times, he is the one controlling the relationship. If Harry wants things to stop--he makes them stop. If he is in the mood to let Draco have what he wants--he allows it. It isn't even that Draco is relenting when Harry tells him to back off. It's just that Harry is in charge here and he forces Draco back off.

So in a way, Harry is topping and Draco is bottoming. And I like that.

I do hope I don't sound like a lunatic, but my point is valid to me (but give me the word if this post is not acceptable, moderator)!
