I've noticed that on a lot of the themed searches on this community lately, people have been reccing whatever fics fit the theme regardless of whether it's b!Draco or not. It's kind of frustrating to have to ask whether or not a fic is bottom!Draco on the bottom!Draco community. :-/

I've sort of noticed that too. Personally, I think it should be either purely bottom!Draco or mostly bottom!Draco. I hate having to read a story wherein Draco bottoms briefly without mention and 90% of the fic contains detailed bottom!Harry.

I mean, I know it's permissible to have Draco topping several times but really, there should be a mention of such when reccing. I don't know if that's just me but I don't want to peruse a story thinking it's bottom!Draco when it's not.

Kind of defeats the purpose of the comm.

I've made a list of the above and put it in a backdated (may have gotten the term wrong) entry in the community so it would always be at the top but deleted it. Besides, it would look much better on the info page.

yes, we should have !contests!, and tags like someone else mentioned, and a mod who makes sure there are no bottom!harry postings. and the first contest we should do is Beauxbatons!Draco... because there is not enough Beauxbatons!Draco and this needs to be rectified.

LOL haha I've not been spying. I was reading a rec site on creature!H/D fics and was opening all interesting titles in new tabs, when I accidentally opened a link to their comm. I almost had to wash my eyeballs out at..er, their header picture of Harry in, er.. you get what I mean. I think that was one of the main reasons I got traumatized way way away from bottom!Harry in the first place ^^;

That aside, it was very colorful and.. uh, appealing for those who like those type of fics xD

simmysim to at least ask if we can help revamp the entire community seeing as there are a lot of rules to re-establish, a lot of stories and art to organize via the tagging system, and hell, just total overhaul.

On that note, we planned to kick start the new comm (we're still in the process of asking several artists if we can borrow their works to use in the layout) with a 30-themed bottom!Draco fest in line with the upcoming summer season via invitation (seeing talents form the current [info]hd_worldcup and the [info]hp_10k_showcase.

That's not final yet though.
