Inspired By: The Wonderful Musician (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wonderful_Musician) Pairing(s): Any/Draco Era: Hogwarts Prompt: A Deatheater plot and the adage "Know thy enemies." Contrary to what certain Gryffindors might believe, underhandedness, an attitude problem, and a strong sense of self-preservation are, in fact, strong assets when facing down danger; it also helps to be a wonderful magician. Special Requests: Snarky, quick-witted, and calculating Slytherin!Draco and (if he makes an appearance) Lucius as a very misguided, very Slytherin, and very lousy person, but ultimately a loving father. Squicks: None
Prompt #5:
Inspired By: The Shadow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shadow_(fairy_tale)) Pairing(s): Gellert/Draco!!, Snape/Draco, Voldemort/Draco Era: Hogwarts including AU 8th year, EWE Prompt: An Arithmancy or Divinations mishap, the use of dark magic or a dark object, a very convoluted mystery, and help from a mystery-zealous Hermione. Special Requests: The more genuinely creepy the better!! Bitchy, intelligent, in-character Draco and an almost-friendship that develops between him and an in-character Hermione. (And, if you chose to include them) Harry and Ron as reasonable, and relateable, if angry and grudge-holding, friends of Hermione's, rather than callous assholes or gung-ho research assistants. Squicks: Play-by-play of the original story. I can live with character death, if that's the route the story takes, but if you plan to end the story that way, I'd prefer it as part of a creepy plot twist to something extremely angsty.
