Satisfying short reads

Hi everyone.

Now that term has started I'm really busy with work. As much as I'd like to dive into a long, satisfying H/D (some old songs on my ipod have really made me crave fic) I just don't have the time.

Can anyone rec me some satisfying shorter reads? Ideally under 10,000 words or so, that I can read in one sitting and still have time to do my marking and lesson planning!
