I'm not sure how it is that I haven't found this fic until now, but clearly it's just waiting for the best moment to grace my life with its presence. I love Draco in this, battered but not defeated, and definitely unrepentant. And the hurt/comfort is amazing. I just have to share with you guys.

First of all, brilliant~! Okay. Your story has made me realize something important. Lots of time when I read fanfic I skim and read the smex parts. In your story, which imo had no smut to speak of, I read every word!!! The story was wonderfully engaging and I realize the reason why is that the emotional content was so appealing ~ the psychological aspects. I think that's why I skip to the smex because it is always an emotional and psychological part of the story... WELL DONE!!
