There was this fic I read awhile back and I sort of lost the link to it. So, I'm hoping one of you nice, nice people here could help, please!

It's post-war and Draco has been missing for years. Everyone assumed that he died in the war. But, well, he didn't and he resurfaced one day half-starved and severely abused. Neville found him and nursed him back to health. As a result, Draco got very attached to Neville - sort of like a lost chick with substitute mother hen. Later, Neville found out that prior to Draco's disappearance, he was in love with Harry. So, Neville got Harry to help with Draco. It's sort of like a love triangle thing. I've not finished the fic but I get the feeling that Draco's in love with both men and is unwilling to choose. Harry and Neville on the other hand are both trying to do the noble thing and push Draco onto the other. I think, Draco enjoys teasing/playing with Harry (the way a lost puppy would with a new friend) but he feels safe and protected with Neville.

Oh and Draco's mute... and Neville's horribly scarred... and Harry has a bad leg. Erm, if it helps, I remembered thinking that Draco's behavior reminded me a lot of a puppy. An abused puppy. He likes to be petted; to talk to him, you'd to whisper and coax him to you; he likes to be held but not too tight; he nuzzles people he likes; he peeps in whenever there are strangers but shies away from actual contact; he licks Neville at one point... plus he likes poking his nose (figuratively) into Harry's things.
