Fic search: High School AU

Hello again! I love alternate reality stories! I was wondering if anyone could recommend an AU that's based in high school. When I say AU, I mean a story with no magic, no Harry fighting a war, etc. Using names like Hogwarts for the name of the school is fine, but I'd like a fic where it's a no magic AU, especially set in high school!

I'm up for any kind of story and I don't mind if Draco (I actually like OOC Draco) and the other characters are OOC, as long as there is no switching, Draco gender bending, and no major character death. It doesn't have to be Harry that Draco is paired with, I'm fine with anyone except for Snape or Lucius.

Ah yes, to be honest, I just finished reading this story which got me to wanting more stories similar to it.

I know I said no magic, but the summary for that fic seems to adorable to pass up! I look forward to it.

Just finished reading them both and I have to say.. ADORABLE! This is exactly what I'm looking for, especially the second one! I hope the authors decide to update in the near future.

There was one I stumbled across the other day in FF.net that's guaranteed bottom!Draco (but still somewhat canon-ish. Harry's completely OOC though. He's pretty much the stereotypical misunderstood badboy slash teenage stud). It's called Mother Knows Best (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4338233/1/Mother_Knows_Best) by Nefarious61.

And there's this non-magical AU rec list (http://foryourpleasure.dreamwidth.org/3053.html) too by alicamb. There are some H/D in American High School-style fics that might interest you. Of course, the list isn't sorted by who tops/bottoms so erm, read at your own risk?

p.s. I'm in the middle of searching for something similar to what you're currently looking for but in Asian context. As in H/D in an Asian high school (because I think we have too many American High School AUs already in this genre and I'm curious if there's anything different out there. Besides, I think the difference in social habits and culture is intriguing) - like Japan maybe? I'll let you know if I find any. If not and if I have the time (really BIG 'if' here), I might write one myself.
