Should anon posts (fic searches, recs, etc) be allowed?
I don't understand the question. How can you post to a comm without an account?

Also: if you want to address community members and lurkers (=anons) with this post, maybe you should allow anon comments to this entry, so they could speak up if they wanted to. Otherwise I there's not much sense in this entry.

I believe you can. I don't often comment anon but there is a way to comment anon if anon comments are allowed (which the poll is leaning towards at the moment).

Good point when I get back to the computer I will work on the settings to allow others a voice. I just put "everyone" forgetting the comm is members locked (good job Kiss).

For this also, it was a thought I was kicking around in my own head about how we could make posts specifically for Anons to post recs and searches. The mods would create the posts for this use.

I was going to say that yes you can comment anon but to my knowledge you can not make a new post to a comm anon. You have to have a journal to post to a community. :D

i do however think that anon comments if allowed should be screened.
