Hi! I know this isn't in the comm rules but I don't see why not because it's Harry/Draco and a lot of our members are die hard Drarry fans (at least the bottom!Draco part of it). Plus, your shop sounds so very interesting!! So yes, you may advertise your shop here. Feel free to use the '!pimp post' tag. Just one thing though, would you mind posting the advertisement after we've posted our claiming post for the 2013 bottom!Draco fest? The claiming post goes up on 16th Nov. Thanks!

Oh dear, so sorry for the late reply. I've been very busy lately and must have missed this comment. Yes of course, you may use the Adaptations Fest prompts to write, but with 2 conditions:

1. Please let us know which prompt(s) you have picked, so that we could take note and inform the prompter(s).

2. Please inform us when you're done with the fic, along with a link to the finished fic.

It would also be great if you could post the finished fic to the

bottom_draco community! That would be so grand :D

I'm in the process of starting a new fest/comm, the initial and general information about can be found in

hp_adoptaprompthp_adoptaprompt. The name and some specifics may change, but the general idea of giving unclaimed prompts a 2nd chance is the main idea and is solid. bottom_draco, since it just finished posting and won't be taking new prompts for some time, is one of the ones I'd like to use for round 1. I'm asking for both permission and blessing.

*squee* That is an awesome idea for a new fest/comm! *fangirly flail* Can't wait for the fest/comm to start - officially, that is (Psst! Do drop by and let me know when the fest/comm goes official, yeah?).

Yes, of course, go ahead and use the unclaimed prompts. You can even use prompts that have only been claimed once (for either fic or art). You see, each prompt here can be claimed twice: Once for fic and another for art. So, say, prompts that have been claimed for art but not for fic can be open for grabs to be turned into fics, if you like. There are, however, some conditions to using bottom_draco unclaimed prompts though:-

1. It would be nice to let the mods of this community know should any unclaimed prompt from any past bottom_draco fest gets claimed. It's not strictly necessary, but we would very much appreciate the heads up so that we could either help pimp the fic/art, or encourage them to be posted to this community. That way, we would also be able to contact the prompter and let him/her know that their prompt got claimed.

Prompts from the 2013 bottom_draco fest specifically:

2. Amongst the unclaimed prompts for the 2013 bottom_draco fest, you'll notice that some prompters are very particular about top/bottom/switching (i.e. some listed "switching" or "top!draco" as a squick). So, should any of these prompts get claimed later, it would be nice to respect the prompter's wishes to have the prompt be incorporated into bottom!Draco context.

3. For any unclaimed prompts for the 2013 bottom_draco fest, that did not list "switching" or "top!Draco" as a squick, they may be incorporated into fics/arts that contain "switching" so as long as the story is predominantly bottom!Draco. That means the fic/art contain sex scenes featuring Draco bottoming are more (by count - because that's the easiest way to decide these things). Confusing, yeah? Read the community FAQ (http://bottom-draco.livejournal.com/1179711.html) for better understanding, and/or direct claimants interested in claiming those prompts to that FAQ page (http://bottom-draco.livejournal.com/1179711.html).

Prompts from previous bottom_draco fests (2009 Fairytale Fest and 2010 Time Fest):

4. Feel free to use any unclaimed prompts from the 2009 and 2010 bottom_draco fests. However, fic/art created from these unclaimed prompts would have to be strictly bottom!Draco - as the rules/community preferences were different then.

I panicked a bit and wanted to caution the community, cause even though none of my fics were stolen, some of my favorite authors' are (like

dracogotgame's fics are on the stealing site, also

calrissian18's are also there). I'd love to make a PSA but I think maybe the mods want to do that and warn the community of this activity and to write a DMCA letter to the site? Or shoud I do it?

Hi, Thanks for messaging us. I've seen this posted on several people's LJs and I know that many have already sent DMCA letters and not gotten a response. I know that AO3 is also taking action against them. I do think the news is getting around now. Seems like it actually all revolves around a credit card scam. :/

If you'd like to make a PSA to the community you are welcome to do so, but I don't think it's something the mods are planning to do officially.

It seems that the past day this has been quite wide spread all throughout different fandoms, I think you're right, chances are people already know and the point of the PSA will be moot. I'll be refraining from making such post, as the most people have gotten out of the site seem to be making the AO3 fics now no longer searchable through their ebook website.

Hope the whole thing can be resolved, and thanks for answering my concerns
