10 Nov 2012 - Prompting closes
16 Nov 2012 - Claiming opens
15 Feb 2013 - Claiming closes/Submissions due
1 March 2013 - Posting begins!


Fest info:

What does 'adaptation' mean? There are several definitions of what "adaptation" mean, but for this fest, we only need one:

Adaptation (noun) - ad·ap·ta·tion [ad-uhp-tey-shuhn]
- Something that is produced by adapting something else (creative work) - A movie, television drama, or stage play that has been adapted from a written work, typically a novel.

Or in this case: Adapting a movie, book, stage play, etc into fanfiction/art!!!

That said, feel free to adapt any:
Movie/TV series/stage play/cartoon/book/comic/fairytale/myth/musical...

And if you're really, really, really creative: Songs and music videos even!

The point is to adapt your favorite storyline(s) from any of the creative works mentioned above into Bottom!Draco context.

I am SO excited about this its not even funny. I have already starting making prompts. * I'm crazy *

But my question is, can I use photo prompts? I have been looking through the HD Fanart fests from previous years, and there is some really inspiring artwork that makes me think of prompts. Can I link to that, or should I ask that comm or the artist?

Yes you can, darling. With a few conditions though: if you're using photo prompts, please scale down the image size (if you're posting the picture along with your prompt) and please link the photo back to where you originally found it. Also, these photos/artworks you're interested in using as prompts have to be related to a movie/book/comic/etc etc because that is our fest theme and all prompts have to be related to the theme :)

Of course you may join in prompting! It's open to everybody. It isn't necessary to be a member to leave a prompt but we'd encourage you join us because the more members, the merrier - really, it's your choice.
