At what time on the 16th does prompt claiming open? At midnight? And what time zone?

Just curious, since some of us have jobs :)

It will be around noon central time zone USA which is UTC/GMT -6 hours, if I'm not mistaken (roughly around the same time we opened prompting). You could always claim by proxy if you find yourself unavailable at that time :)

For the claiming, will the prompts all be under one "masterlist" of sorts so we can claim in the comments, or will we have to comment on the prompt we want to claim? Or will it be done completely differently?

We will put up both a prompt list (a masterlist of all collected prompts) and also a 'claiming post' (these two are separate posts, yeah?). Anyone interested to claim a prompt will be required to comment to the 'claiming post' with a simple form (you'd need to fill in the form). The form will be posted a long with the 'claiming post' and all comments will be screened.
