fic search - Draco and his Slytherins (and/or Gryffindors)

Hey, I'm looking for fics where Draco takes care of his Slytherins, where the Slytherins really look up to him. Sort of like pseudo kid!fics? Also fics where Gryffindors take Draco under their protective wing, or Draco finds himself unexpected protective of the younger years of another house.

Please help rec me! I know there are a fair number of these sort of fics floating around, I just unfortunately can't seem to find them in my bookmarks. I'll be so grateful for any recs!

I feel really bad cause I can't find it, but I know it's on my fanfiction.net alerts and there are just a lot of fics there so I don't know which it is. But there's a Dramione story [and it's barely even that] where in eighth year, Draco essentially becomes the Head of House for Slytherins because Snape's replacement is an arse. Hagrid and Flitwick have their idea of Malfoy changed and overall, it's a really interesting read. I just wish I could remember what it was called. I hope someone else can help.

That's basically what I want! The Dramione is a bit concerning, but since you implied that it's only implied on (I hope), I wouldn't mind it! (Actually, that sounds a bit familiar. I believe I might have read it before I charged headfirst into the HD fandom. ;D)

Gah! Now I have to contemplate digging through my ff.net alerts. ^^;; Thanks for the heads up though. It means there is hope!

I have been searching for this story for AGES!!!!!!! I remember reading it, but I can't remember the title!!!! It's so frustrating!!!!!!!! If anyone finds this fic, please Please PLEASE comment with the title this is driving me mad :/
