Notes: AU. Major AU. Hogwarts still happened, but the Voldemort Saga did not. Kind of.According to Pottermore, the Malfoys didn’t give two squirts of piss about Muggles before the first war. Therefore, I have taken Voldy out of the equation and instead focused on what the world would have been like for our favourite characters if Tom hadn’t gone round the bend. I also changed it a bit. Draco isn’t attending a close friend’s wedding, but his ex’s. Yeah, hope that isn’t deviating too much. Special thanks to my betas nenne and katelinmr. All the love in the world to you two. Seriously.
Summary: When the love of Draco’s life sends him an invitation to his wedding, Draco desperately tries to find a date for it that’s hot enough to make the man jealous so he can break up the wedding and keep the groom for himself. Then he meets Harry Potter in a cafe one early morning, among the Knockturn Alley crowd, and takes a chance to hire him as a date. When Harry eventually says yes, Draco rejoices, but as he spends a week with the man by his side, and as they learn more about each other, Draco realises his love for the groom is slowly disappearing.

I have always ha a soft spot for nice!Lucius. Harry, without his fame really is just an awkward boy and when I decided to go the route of AU with no evil dark lord, it made sense that Harry would be somewhat unknown and Draco and co. wouldn't particularly care who was who as long as they were cool enough and useful enough to hang around. It went from there really.

That was such a fun, delightful read! I really enjoyed it. I absolutely loved the friendship between Draco, Blaise, and Pansy. And Theo was the worst kind of prat, I'm so glad it was Draco who rejected him in the end!

Yeah Draco, Blaise and Pansy are my go to for Slytherin trio fic fodder. Theo was made out to be a prat, so I'm glad that translated well in here. I wanted anyone reading to be rooting for Draco so I'm happy he got his fist pump moment.

Yeah the last line was fun to think up. There were so many doctor/patient scenario's going through my head, but I kept it simple, lol.

Where do I even begin with how happy this made me? Everything within this lovely fic was such a delight to devour! Its tone is warm and inviting and story itself is the perfect soothing romance and oh, it gives me ALL THE HAPPY, FLUFFY FEELS. The characters though... they are the sole highlights of this story!

Your Harry is possibly one of the most amazing gifts to mankind fanfiction, and romance fanfiction at that. Your Harry makes the world go round! At least, he does that to my world (and I suspect, Draco's too, for that matter). You made him so wonderful and adorable and such a smitten kitten that.... seriously, I don't really have words for just how wonderful I find him because every word I come across seem to pale in comparison with ALL THE FEELS I have about him. Your Draco too is a delight to read because I empathize with him so much. He's an adorable mixture of vulnerability and strength, of snark and innocence and of obliviousness. And oh, don't even get me started on Pansy and Blaise, and Lucius (can I keep him?! Can I, can I, can I oh please, can I keep Lucius?? *grabby hands*) and Narcissa! They're all equally wonderful!

I haven't read/seen the original work that that you based your fic on but hat doesn't matter because your story was epic! Going into it I wasn't sure sure about how the changes (no Voldemort, etc) would translate themselves but they worked out wonderfully. I love that Harry got the chance to be just Harry. He wasn't the boy who killed Voldemort and all that stuff. He was just another wizard in Draco's year. The misunderstanding concerning Harry's profession was priceless.

This was so much fun to read. The angst was just right to leave my heart aching but not leave me depressed, and the sweetness and humour have me feeling sated. Pansy and Blaise were adorable as the BFF's. It was interesting to have the Slytherin trio without the Gryffindor one. The dynamic with Theo and Astoria was all very well done for delicious drama. I was so glad Draco punched Theo, but I felt a little sorry for him, too.

My very favourite bit was the scene where Harry is playing innocent by pretending to sleep in Draco's lap. It was just so cute, funny, and sweet!

What a wonderful story! It was so refreshing to see all these new (at least for me) pairings and different dynamics between Slytherins and Gryffindors - very enjoyable indeed.

And who could resist playing doctor with Harry... yummie! I just hope Lucius doesn't have to bankrupt Harry's practise for any reason... ;)

Ahh! This story was SO good. I was only supposed to take a short study break and read a bit of this fic. Let's just say my short break turned into a long one until I finished your fic. I could not put it down! Usually, I'm not a huge fan of AUs, but your AU really worked. I loved how you portrayed Harry as reserved and a loner at school. I could easily see him taking that route if it hadn't been for Ron or Hermione.

Not was such a jerk throughout this fic, but by the end I couldn't help but feel sorry for him and Astoria. You did a great job writing him and all the supporting characters. I really do need to get back to studying, but I just wanted to tell you that I loved everything about this fic. I haven't enjoyed a romcom this much in ages. Thank you so much for participating in the fest and I think I might have enjoyed your adaptation more than the original.
