This was such a lovely story! I loved the way The Weasleys accepted Draco into their family even though Ginny didn't. Luna and Draco's friendship was so lovely. I really enjoyed their friendship and it made me smile eveytime they were together. Boo to the Slytherins who were hurting Draco! I got really antsy when the attacks grew visible and Draco was hurt, but McGonagall came through with her awesome self and helped him when he needed it!

Harry and Draco kissing was so cute and sweet. I really loved the way Harry was so gentle with Draco and helped him out when he needed it. Hermione also play a good role in the helping along with Ron. Wonderful to see an understanding Ron to Harry's orientation. ^^ It was very nice to see a supportive Hermione as well.

I saw many parallels to the movie which made me smile. The way Draco was so naive and gentle and Molly fitting the role of the mother who wants to show Draco everything to Ron being distrustful and eventually warming up to Draco to Ginny being the person that doesn't think Draco should belong with them and Harry giving me the happy ending I always wanted in the movie.

Thank you so much for this story! I really enjoyed it. :)

Edward Scissorhands is my all time favourite movie; actually I'm a big fan of all Tim Burton's movies, so it was a real pleasure to find your prompt in the fest and of course I wanted to write it. Making Draco so out of character made me a bit nervous, I wasn't sure if I could make it fit into the story but I wanted to stay faithful to the spirit of the original movie with it's bittersweer, innocent mood - and with a happy ending, of course :)

I'm so happy that you liked the story - thank you very much for your wonderful feedback!

That was such a darling of a story. I loved this Draco, so shy and vulnerable. :)

Thank you! It was quite different to write a sweet and innocent Draco but it was also very refreshing, he was so cute :)

Very sweet. Your Draco was so sympathetic with his complete lack of life or social skills.

Oh yes, living as a recluse affected his social skills quite much. Fortunately he had Weasley family to help him learn about how friends and family dynamics work. Thank you for reading and commenting! :)

I loved this story a lot, perhaps for the little details: Draco's friendship with the twins, being sorted into Ravenclaw, their lovely (almost chaste) kisses, and Hermione's helpful book. I thought it was a very sweet story, full of angst and sorrow, but with a hopeful ending. Great job!

Thank you very much! I was so worried about making Draco something other than Slytherin but in the end it seemed the best house for him at his current "state". As for the twins - well, they were just too irresistible to keep out of this story ;)

This was great! I loved Draco's innocent discovery of his sexuality and Ron's simple question that put his worries to rest.

Oh yes, it was nice to give Ron a good supporting role in this story. Thank you for reading and commenting! :)

This was positively charming! I love the whole innocent feel of the fic! There was such a gentle, soothing quality to the narrative tone and the way the story flowed that was both sweet and innocent. I love that you made Draco's character so naive, shy and sweet-as-a-babe. He was positively endearing in this fic. I love that the Weasleys (minus Ginny) were so protective and supportive of Draco - it was almost like they've adopted him into their family the same way they've accepted Harry. Their love and care for Draco felt utterly genuine and that was one of the biggest, shiniest highlights of this fic for me because it was so touching. And I love that Harry was the perfect gentleman; kind, caring; understanding, protective and head-over-heels smitten ♥

Thank you so very much for your encouraging feedback. I wanted to follow the innocent and loving spirit of the original film I happen to love very much. The Weasley's had a great influence to Draco's life and somehow it became another connecting point between Draco and Harry. The Weasleys had taken Harry into their family in a similar way; he neither didn't have any other family left. I wanted for Draco and Harry to find a companion, a family, love and future in each other to let them have a happy, hopeful ending in this story.
