Notes: hollys_tree, I was trying to decide what prompt I wanted to pick, when I came home one night and just turned on the television. Not five minutes into watching, a movie starts playing. I think great, but I’m sleepy so I hit record and head to bed. The next day, I start the movie and low and behold, its Overboard. I immediately think of your prompt. So that’s how I decided to pick your prompt. hollys_tree, I hope you like this story. I actually followed your prompt pretty closely, to my surprise. It almost seemed like this story did not want to be completed because I kept running across impediments. Some bad, like falling sick a couple times. Some good, like starting two new jobs. I went through three computers while writing this fic (RIP laptop). I thank the mods for being so understanding and giving me all the extra time I needed. You are seriously the best! Thanks to my friend S, for helping cut a huge chunk that needed to go. A huge thanks to my beta N, for being so great and putting up with me. And to my BFF, G, who lent me her laptop, HER LAPTOP, when mine failed. I gave you a back story on how Harry became a single father, I hope you don’t mind.
Summary: Harry is a single dad and cursebreaker. He agrees to take a job for Draco Malfoy. Things don’t go as plan. He somehow ends up with a new husband. The wardrobe may or may not remain cursed to this day.

This was so sweet! I love Draco finding happiness in three wild children and the endless chores they produce.

I love the film and you did a great job translating it to Harry Potter. Draco was horrible enough in the beginning to make Harry sympathetic despite his lying, and the build-up of their relationship was plausible. Lily stole my heart.

It was terrible. It felt like a limb was missing at first. Then I got used to it but it was a pain. Now I finally have it back! Though I sometimes forget its there because I got so used to relying on my phone for Internet type things. Buy I'm glad to have it back!

That was so much fun! I loved how Draco kept changing James' name. lol And Lily was such a sweetheart. <3 I really enjoyed this. I saw this movie when I was little but as I read it I started remembering it better, you did a great job with the adaptation. :D

I'm very much enjoying the way you are writing how Harry's children came to be. It reads very nicely. And although we do know some of it (like the children's name, who married who, etc), you manage to make it sound fresh. Plus, you are writing a little bit of life into something that was just mentioned in the epilogue. Hehehe, the children's breakfast food sounds yummy. I also like my bacon like James.

awww Lily is adorable. That bit when she says that maybe Harry sound find himself a mummy or daddy. hahaah Draco' has a second tattoo. This story is definitely worth a second read. I adored it! Thank you for sharing it.

I wanted to give a little but of a back story, especially because I changed the canon timeline to fit the story better. I found that the movie only hinted at the wife/mother's death, so I wanted to give the story something more.

I had fun writing about the food the children ate. I know children can be persnickety about food and I wanted to show that.

Lily ended up with my heart too by time I finished writing the story. I am so glad you liked the story! Thank you for your comment!

This was such a lovely read :D It was sweet and fluffy and so funny! I can't help but smile when I read this. Everything felt so warm and bright and fluffy! The children were absolutely adorable and so were Harry and Draco! Draco was perfect with the little troublemakers! I always loved the movie 'OverBoard,' and you outdid yourself
with this story. I enjoyed the humor of Draco holding the
chicken with 2 fingers, and learning the mysteries of house
cleaning. This is a sweet, humorous fiction, with a Lily
