Notes: I did it. I actually did it! Before I go about thanking everyone who made this possible, I would like to mention that this epic tale has survived twelve rewrites, a complete mental breakdown, a home move and a city wide internet blackout on the very last day. Against all odds, it happened and I can’t tell you what it means to me to see it up here.

First and foremost, my thanks goes to appleling . She outdid herself with this brilliant, fantastic and utterly delicious prompt. As a mod, she has been a goddess- supportive, kind and wonderful. She survived my first breakdown and made sure I made it through and this is all her. As a friend, there are no words. Thank you, darling for being just so wonderful. This is for you- my longest story till date. And I hope you enjoy it, should you ever get through it.

Oh my god *wibbles* this was SO GOOD! I loved it from beginning to end. The style of writing, the plot the twists... SO FRICKIN GOOD!!!

“I know! I know! I’ll spend my whole life making it up to you if you just stop trying to end it!”

This line made me laugh but it was nothing compared to the range of emotions the rest of it made me feel. I took time for this one, and I'm so glad I did. Now I know why it was saved for the end. What a spectacular way to end a fest. Truly a work of art and well desereving of the final spot.

Oh my god, that was amazing!!!!!!!!!

From the very beginning I knew I was going to love it. I just... I just had so much fun reading this! I don't know how to explain it!

It was exciting and funny and so sweet. I loved Harry! And I LOVED Draco! They were just perfect. So feisty!

But all the characters, Blaise and Lucius, Ginny and Andromeda, they were so very well written, so engaging.

This story was pure delight, mystery author! Instant favourite.

I loved loved loved this. It was soooo good. A beautiful plot and it was very well written. I love the way the characters were written, a feisty but somehow still vulnerable Draco has always been one of my favorites and you wrote him so well. I knew as soon as Harry agreed to that contract that it was going to bite him in the butt and I was literally at the edge of my seat biting my nails off hoping it would turn out all right in the end. The way their relationship progressed was believable and fit in quite well with your depiction of Draco and Harry's character. When I first saw Lucius and Andromeda I wondered how you would make that work without hitting one of my pet peeves (that pairing is rarely ever well done), but you did it! Somehow you made it work for me :D It was definitely an exercise for my emotions, this fic. So many laughs and when there was the angst, I felt it too. I loved the whole thing and could probably go on for a bit more about why.

I'd say those 12 rewrites and the one breakdown were completely worth it because the end result was a truly spectacular fic. Thanks! ♥♥♥

Wow. You had me laughing out loud and crying at different points, so you definitely dragged me into the story. I loved the clash of Draco's defences and Harry's persistence. They were perfect. There was lots of excitement, sweetness and great humour, and I think you handled the ending perfectly. Draco's pride and defensive nature never changed, and it felt right for Harry to spend 3 years putting a ring on his finger.

Your supporting cast was great. I especially loved Ginny and Zabini, as well as the Hogwarts boys. So cute!

I'm sorry writing this story caused you so much trouble, but I am very grateful that you persisted and shared this absolute gem with us!

I was particularly happy that Draco didn't really change and that Harry had to work for his forgiveness. Thank you for picking up on that.

Oh. Oooh, this was absolutely delicious! Positively riveting and sooooo cute! You've nailed the rom-com feel perfectly! From the very beginning to the end, it was pure delight devouring this, precisely because it was such beautifully executed rom-com! I love how you've adapted the core plot of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, but tweaked it to give the story a refreshing and utterly adorable rom-com feel! I love the cheeky way you have with words! The adorable snark! The witty banter! The way there's something utterly charming about the way you weave details and scenes together to make the story flow and develop into something bright and lively and cute! I'm sorry you had to go through 12 re-writes and a breakdown in order to give birth to this uber cutetastic story - but if it's any consolation, all the trouble you had to go through was absolutely worth it because THIS IS BRILLIANT!

Most of all I love the way you develop the characters! Draco was the perfect "shrew" - and an absolutely lovable one at that! He was just the right mixture of a petulant brat, a feisty little spitfire, a drama queen and a caring son/friend/lover. He was both an absolute nightmare and a charming darling! And I love he wasn't all temper and snark and gutsy bravado either... that he was also insecure and frightened and lonely. And lovely Harry was his perfect half! Don't even get me started on Lucius and all the other side characters! Omg they're AWESOME! I love that Lucius, for all his faults (and there were many!) was a caring father and he truly loved his only son!

A very delightful adaptation of the original and perfectly executed! I love it!

Oh my, this is priceless! I love everything about this fic. In the space of two sentences, I was laughing so hard the tears in my eyes made it difficult to see the words. Draco as the shrew is perfection! His good taste in throwing the ugliest pieces of furniture was a genial touch. I have no words for Lucius. His 'proposal' to Harry is perfect and their dialogue is so witty… I'm not even starting about Harry, his stubbornness and kindness and sense of humor. They are so in character, and hilarious, and sweet. You also made a great work of every other character: Ginny, Blaise, Andromeda… I really liked Andromeda in this fic, the way she treats Lucius and how caring and understanding she is towards Draco.
And Draco's fanclub at Hogwarts… precious!
Harry, the 'absolute neanderthal'… love this characterization.
Every dialogue was brilliant, to be true.
The ending just killed me.

oh. my. god.
it has been ages since i've read a fic that good!
the only critique i would have really liked to have seen the reconciliation scene where draco forgives harry after much groveling on harry's part. the epilogue did give us a happy ending which i thought was adorable, but i just felt like where the story cut off before then left me kind of hollow .-.
but seriously though it was awesome! especially the courtship, my heart was aflutter<3 and there were definite funny moments too! great job ^_^

Ahem, about the NC-17 thing, that's my bad. *raises hand sheepishly* I'm still kinda new to writing intense slash and sometimes I just don't get sex scenes...right. They just sound so... awkward when I put them down in writing. And some writers here, hot damn! *fan self* They can write slash like a fine mofo. My genres are usually fluff / humour with just a dash of snogging. I do write some NC 17 stuff, but I'm still kinda shy about it.

Oh, that was perfect. It started out delightfully and just got BETTER and BETTER. I just about died when Draco and Harry began coaching the Hogwarts team.
