I have been scouting for a H/D story I think was rec here to add to my bookmarks (Since I hadn't like I thought). Someone had posted that they wanted a H/D story that involved Harry being a celebrity and Draco as the 'normal' boyfriend, or something similar.

I know for sure the story was posted on archiveofourown.org.

Both Harry and Draco was muggles (Non-magical universe), and they had became roommates and later lovers. Just as they began going out, Harry (Who is a prodigy at the violin, or some other musical instrument) gets a opportunity of a life time, but it requires him to move to America.

He eventually takes it. Some time pass and Harry is a popular actor in America now, and Draco still lives in their old apartment since he is currently having a family feud (Lucius says 'marry and be normal' Draco says 'fuck you buddy, no thanks'). Harry and Draco are still dating I think, but I don't recall them contacting each other much during Harry's rise to fame. Draco is insecure where he stands with Harry during the time they spend apart.

Harry and Draco might not be in a relatioship but was building up to one, before Harry left and things weren't clear.

Either way, Harry comes back and goes on a small hunt for Draco, and they are like ('Why did you leave? I loved you!' 'What? Me too!') and things get better.

It ends with Harry and Draco going back to America
