1. I'm in the mood for dark!Harry fics wherein Draco is supportive of him and/or is the only one Harry trusts.

2. I'd like to read some infidelity fics where Harry cheats to be with Draco.

3. Are there any good fics with detailed magic theory or rituals? Any pairing is welcome here.

I prefer longer fics but won't turn down any good reads.

You'll get an abundance of rituals and magic theory in Lightning on the Wave's Sacrifices arc -- and it's incredibly long, too. (IIRC, the 7 books -- following JKR's timeline -- contain over 3.000.000 words! An absolute fandom classic.)

Personally, I'm not too fond of her Harry, and at times it's way too gory for my taste. But there are incredible twists on canon and characters while staying based in the original plot, very interesting OCs and you've got to admire the sheer scope of the thing; it's absolutely breathtaking.

However, for the most part it's top!Draco, not that I care; it's consistent and fitting for the way she paints the characters. I've been told there's eventual switching, but I'm at the beginning of the 7th story, and Draco's still on top. If you can get past that, it's well worth the effort of reading the whole thing.

I've been meaning to read Sacrifices but I find it a bit daunting. I don't mind if Draco tops so long as he's not the predominant top. I'll put this on my to read list all the same. Thanks!

The Oathbreaker series by Goblin Cat KC is fantastic and goes super in depth with technical/historical/cultural differences between Dark magic and Light magic practitioners including different spells, how dark magic is inherently different, why it it, etc.
