vanishing fic

Hey guys!

does anyone recall a draco/dean fic called "rewind" by phou, over at archiveofourown? it was an amazing fic that i've read countless times over the past few weeks and when i went to re-read it again it was gone! Archiveofourown said something about needing to be a member to view it but i literally ready it like last week without being a member, Phou's profile is empty too and i know there was a tone of fics posted.

Does anyone know what happened? did Phou delete their account or is archiveofourown suddenly switching up the rules on me?

It's there. There is an option on AO3 to set a fic to only be readable by members of the archive (getting an account is easy, and kind of awesome because you can then have a great history of what you've read). I tend to do that to fics when I've been getting anonymous trolls or something.

If you are not logged in with an account and see phou's account as empty, they have very likely switched all of their fics to be members' only, so you will need an AO3 account in order to read/comment/etc.

AO3 has also been having problems with disappearing fics. It may just be a temporary problem.
