I'm in the middle of rereading Gold Tinted Spectacles and was reminded of another epic (I think) fic I read eons ago. The things I can remember:

1. Harry and Draco are creatures of some sort, or are coming into their magical inheritance. Harry already came into his and is now helping Draco.

2. Harry used an area of the castle, a time turner, and golems to help him through his own transition. This is unusual because normally you have someone else with you during this experience.

3. There is something about how the person you spend your transition with you will also likely have sex with - and in doing so they "steal" some of your powers.

4. [Spoiler?] Draco ends up with healing powers and Harry buys a ton of books for him to study his new skill.

That's all I remember, unfortunately. I'm going through Capitu's rec list right now, but I'm not having any luck (mostly because I keep getting distracted by other fics along the way) Any help is appreciated!

Thank you! I was just thinking about this fic the other day but didn't remember enough to ask about it (just the part about Harry using golems and such to go through his transition and the space he used). Tracking this and hoping someone finds it. Meanwhile, I'll keep looking.

Thank you! I knew I loved the Raspberry Jam story and had already decided to look it up to re-read on the plane in a few weeks headed out for vacation. I hadn't got to that "to do" yet so hadn't re-read the summary and all I could remember, other than I loved the story when I read it, was the jam rating. I am so glad that I will be reading "that" story.
