Draco's Merry-Making Mini Fest!

Guidelines and FAQ:
1. What is Draco's Merry-Making Mini Fest?

Well, your hostesses here,

capitu, were sorely missing a

bottom_draco fest and we thought Draco's birthday was the perfect excuse to give him some loving and to promote the community. Hopefully, there'll be enough eager people to have fun with bottom!Draco, so next year we can have a full-on

bottom_draco fest again. :D

2. How does the Mini Fest work?

It's very simple! This Mini Fest is basically a glorified comment fest. We'll have a prompting post open on the day we start the fest (June 1st MARK YOUR CALENDAR!!!) and as soon as you see a prompt you like, you can create and start posting to the community. Think of a comment fest with the "fills" being posted individually. :)

3. How does Prompting and Claiming work?

Quite simple: in our prompting post you can leave as many prompts as you want. Just do remember that Draco has to be part of the main pairing.

Pairings can be Slash or Het, though of course Gen is absolutely welcome too! But if you're prompting/creating Het content, we'd like to remind you this is a bottom!Draco community. Therefore, all Het works must have explicit bottom!Draco content. If you have any questions, let us know. :)

In case you want a head start, this is the prompting form:

For claiming, you just claim it, leave a comment to the prompt you intend to fill and start creating!

Additionally, you're more than welcome to use your own prompt or write your own idea.

Prompts can be filled more than once, so if the prompt you liked was filled, GO FOR IT all the same. The more the merrier!

4. How do I post what I created?

Please post it at the community as soon as you want! You do have to join

bottom_draco if you're not a member, but trust me, you won't regret joining. ;)

So yes, please post it to the community, though of course you're free to post it at AO3 or your personal journal or your Dreamwidth account and use that link when you post it to the community.

We've created an AO3 Collection for the fest: Bottom_Draco_2017_Minifest. Please do add your works to it if you're posting your submissions to AO3.

There is no minimum or maximum word count - or rating! Same with art, please be as creative as you want and don't be shy. Everything is welcome! From sketches, poetry and drabbles to epic length fic. The only rule is: All fanworks must be new and created for the Mini Fest. :)

But do use appropriate warnings if applicable. We just want to have a Merry Good Time celebrating Draco! And we're super excited to see all your fills! \o/

5. Anything else?

Well, yes! Have fun! Please participate in prompting and filling and commenting and recccing and promoting!

We want this celebration to be wonderful and for everybody to have fun. Don't be shy!

Prompting will open on June 1st and on the 12th we'll post a Masterlist of all fills.
