Looking for angst and/or hurt/comfort fics

My boyfriend of 2 years - ok, EX-boyfriend - just gave me the "it's not you, it's me" talk and broke it off with me. I've always known he was bi but what I didn't know was, it was the roommate slash tennis partner (whom I thought was 100% straight - he was engaged to a hottie Miss Sexy Legs too! Note: 'was' being the operative word)  that I should look out for.

So, I'm now wallowing in self-pity and hope someone nice here would take pity on me and rec me some good old angst and/or hurt/comfort fics that I could dive into. With happy/hopeful endings please. I don't think I can stand major character deaths now.

I'm looking for this fic that i've read a while ago. I can't really remember anything specific but um... Harry was a med student with muggle friends who knew nothing of the wizarding world. I remember in one scene where they're on a road trip and Draco was spotted so Harry paid someone with a rainbow beanie (i think) so Draco could wear it. The pairing is Harry and Draco.
