Drarry prompts

Hey, I'm pretty new to this whole drarry fandom all things considered, but I'm confident that I know quite a bit about it. I still don't know about half of it though, which brings me to my question:
Do writers continue using prompts from fests that are already over, or do they compulsorily stop once the fair is officially over?

I don't remember if this fic actually had any explicit scenes but if they did, I'm 99% sure it was bottom draco. Draco and Harry had a relationship (i think they were romantic) around the time of the battle of hogwarts. Then harry goes into a coma or something and the order members make up excuses that they can't take care of him so draco voluunteers. Draco had defected to the light side i think but people still didn't trust him. Then lucius tries to kill harry and draco ends up killing lucius to protect harry. Later harry wakes up but he's lost his memories of him and draco or something. Hermione tries to get harry to live with her and ron instead but harry decides to stay with draco. In the end draco gets fed up with harry and tries to leave but harry doesn't let him. Does that ring a bell for anyone? Thank youuu!
