I wonder how many people are going to stop it with fic now it's going "mainstream" a bit. Will the "allure of the forbidden", which first got me into slash, disappear when fanfiction becomes "normal"? Hopefully not.

I agree about StarTrek slash being ew!, but at least they didn't mention Harry/Draco,so if my mom ever reads this I have nothing to worry about... ^__^

This is ambiguous news. I'm grateful for the "benign neglect," but it seems as if our world is being cracked open.

Of course companies want to capitilise on this growing market. I just hope people don't stray from the reasoning behind why we write fanfiction.
