The First Bottom!Draco Fest
Fest Rules


To kick-off the renovation of bottom_draco, we’re pleased to announce the First Bottom!Draco Fest! This first, low-pressure fest is meant to showcase the talents of the bottom!Draco community and to get members excited about the new, revamped bottom_draco.



The fest will feature 30 writers and 30 artists – 15 of each will be invited by the mods based on their past contributions to the bottom!Draco community, and another 15 slots of each will be open to all members to sign up for based on a first-come, first-served system. After prompt claiming is complete, there will be a separate sign-up post for pinch-hitters.

Fest Schedule
May 20 – June 4: Prompt Collection
June 5 – June 20: Open Sign-ups & Prompt Claiming (first-come, first-served)
September 15: Submissions Due
October 1: Fest posting begins!

Prompts
The theme of the fest is “Fairytales”. Members are welcome to submit prompts consistent with the theme. Look for the prompt submission format in the following Prompt Collection post.

Story/Art Requirements
All stories and art must be bottom!Draco. On this community, that means Draco is the one being penetrated during sex. If your fic does not contain graphic sex, use your own best judgment and make sure there are no references to or implications of top!Draco in your work.

All stories and art must be based off the prompt claimed by the writer/artist. Furthermore, stories should be at least 1000 words long, thoroughly beta-read, and have all HTML tags included. Art should show evidence of at least an hour’s work and be in JPG or PNG format. Neither stories nor art may be posted anywhere else before the conclusion of the fest.

There are no restrictions on rating or genre. Harry/Draco is, of course, welcome, but other Draco-centric pairings are particularly encouraged. Let's spread the love!

I hope it's okay to ask this :) But can you claim a prompt if you didn't submit one?

absolutely! Those who submit prompt(s) don't necessarily have to claim one, and those who claim don't necessarily have to submit one!

How many times can a prompt be claimed? I'm on shift when the claiming opens, and have seen one I really want :), so it'd be nice to know in advance whether a prompt can be claimed twice, or only once.
