“We should talk,” Draco said over his cup of morning coffee.
Harry raised an inquiring eyebrow.
“About yesterday,” Draco continued.
“Yesterday?”
“Yes, yesterday. The day when you declared in front of everyone that, may I quote you: ‘Malfoy is nothing. We have nothing and never will. Consider him as my Chihuahua.’ You do remember that, right, Potter?”
“Oh, that yesterday.” A pause. “So?”
Draco said nothing.
“You do realize, that there is nothing but fucking?” Harry asked after a moment.
Draco started to chew his lip, cheeks pink.
“There is nothing to talk about, then.” And as an afterthought. “Undress.”

Rating: PG-13-ish
Pairing: Harry/Draco
Summary: Post-Hogwarts; Harry and Draco both live their lives and eventually those will meet.
Notes: Written to Frou Frou's It's good to be in Love and thus a little sappy, maybe.
L’Histoir
Harry finishes Hogwarts with superb marks, except for Potions where he fails miserably.
Draco does not finish Hogwarts at all, because he is gone and nobody knows where to until he returns.
Harry becomes the Seeker of some new and rising Quidditch team even though he has better offers.
Draco only gets a place at Azkaban and manages to buy himself a chamber in the Ministry Dungeons with the last of his money.
After some time Harry notices that this is not what he expected from life and opens a broom shop in Diagon Alley.
Draco tries not to commit suicide and when he eventually fails someone finds him before he can die.
Harry sells his brooms and he does it successfully because they are bearing his name and he decides that there are even more things to be had from life.
Draco does not like his chamber in St Mungo’s and the wounds on his wrist keep bleeding; he won’t tell them why.
Harry sells his name and his broom shop and donates the money to St Mungo’s, which is also the reason why he is there on a beneficence event.
Draco is surprised to see Harry standing on the stage, but he is not surprised that Harry looks as if he’d rather be somewhere else.
After the event Harry tries to escape the group of journalists and ends up lost in the wing for the long-term patients.
That is where Draco meets Harry on his way back to his room with his bandages being bloody from the wounds that still refuse to heal.
Harry notices that Draco looks dead and Draco notices that Harry looks good.
Harry notices the bloody bandages and Draco notices Harry’s tan.
And then Harry smiles and offers Draco a cup of coffee in the Tea Hall, because that is how he is.
And Draco says that his bandages need changing and that he does not want to be where anybody can see him.
And Harry answers that he will wait and that they can sit in a corner far away from everybody else.
