I thoroughly enjoyed this story. More than I expected. Frankly, I'm quite impressed. Most of the time, when recreating fairytale or something that's previously been done, the story has the tendency of not being able to compare. The tone is obviously different, a little bit ironic--Cosmic Irony, as you would so put--it's humorous, with a bit of slang and witty rebuttals on the side.

What surprised me was that, the story is indeed patterned after the "Frog King"--you didn't just lift certain elements, you were actually religious with the story. Usually, I dislike blow-by-blow remixes but this one was so well-done and seamless, you were faithful to the Potter universe (sans 1/2 the epilogue), to the characters and their personalities, and you gave them dimension. Dimension, I thought, was impossible to do with a fairytale themed fest.

So thank you. Your story is beyond amazing.

Ohoho. I think I know who you are. This was a damn good story. Even though they didn't actually full on shag, I enjoyed it. Amazing job at using both the HP universe and the Frog King story. This could've gone so wrong and predictable, but you made it your own. Wonderful read. Draco's characterisation was spot on!

The ending was PERFECT! I love how Harry and Draco both had feelings for each other but both didn't say a word to one another. ;D But Ron and Hermione pretending to be Harry and taking "Peter" was...just so Gryffindor! So glad when Draco cam to his senses and went pounding on the door at 12 Grimmauld.

Yeah, now that's what I'm talking about. I loved this to pieces. It was a joy to read. I loved how Draco was the first person able to hear Harry and I could see them in my mind on the grounds of Malfoy Manor- Peter on Draco's shoulder as they have a conversation that seems one sided. Peter in the vase during the dinner party! Definitely one of my favorite scenes. The Sorting Hat did say that Harry would have done well in Slytherin and I thought it was funny that Draco also recognized Peter's potential to be taught. Every time Harry said "I missed you." after Draco returned from France sent my heart a fluttering. So good. Anyway, thank you mystery author. Hope that was coherent. Brilliant work.

OMG I love it! Harry makes the perfect, persistant toad for Draco's princess. It's just perfect how Draco was lonley enough to get attached to and then kiss a toad. And I love how Harry landed on top of him naked and Draco was seeing double after he changed. That was brilliant! And the rimming scene? OMG too f***ing hot for words!

I was really sorry for Harry after transformation. When he was torn between two worlds/ beings – a toad and a man. Remembering and not remembering, searching for a support, for Draco and not finding him.
And Draco was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! Spoilt, lonely, beautiful prince, who walked his difficult road of development and understanding.

Loved this story! I'm usually a Draco fan, but I just about melted for your Harry. He's such a big-hearted good guy, not a pushover for sure but still so loving and forgiving. And your writing! Wow! It's funny, heartwarming, excellently paced, and what wonderful banter! And anything involving Lucius and Narcissa (the pet talk, the dinner) were hilarious.

Lovely. I really enjoyed this, whole fic was sweet and cute and left me with smile on my face. My favorite moment was that scene, where Draco spoke with Narcissa and Lucius about "Peter", I liked especially Narcissa's reactions.

This fic was absolutely wonderful! <3 I'm speechless...but in a very good way. ;)
I totally fell in love with your Harry and your Draco. There were so many layers to their personalities that they felt very real to me. I also liked your Narcissa and Lucius and the portrayal of their love for their son.
I must confess the name Peter confused me at first while reading, because it made me automatically think of Peter Pettigrew and I wondered if Harry maybe kind of remembered him. But that was obviously not the case.
I didn't want the fic to end. I stared at the screen and willed the words to change from "the end" to "the beginning". *g* And you definitely need to write more in the HP fandom. ;)
I hope you understood my rambling, I feel like my English is deserting me at the moment.

this was so wonderful! the premise was creative, original and believable. the witty banter and sarcastic remarks were just hilarious. i loved the vulnerability draco tries to hide behind the facade of being scheming and mean. his desperation in keeping peter to himself was almost painful to read, especially with his rampant thoughts on isolation and abandonment. their growing friendship, even when harry was still a frog, was so adorable. loved harry's confrontation of draco: confused but passionate, it was so endearing to read the shifts in emotions. great job! :D

ps. lucius and narcissa were just plain funny, especially with their what-in-the-world-is-wrong-with-you attitude.

Oh my... this story manage to capture the princess (Draco) reluctance and disgust to help the toad basing on its appearance and her own superiority thinking and how you do it to fit Draco so well... to me it makes the story flow nicely.

I adore your Draco in all of his flaws. He makes me want to give him a big HUG!! Oh i am highly amused with his actions on hexing Peter and (heheh) his parents bewildered actions. *cackles*

I lOveee the sad parts in the story, its not too weepy-ish or drama-ish kind of sad but enough to convey the vulnerable side of Draco... to me it's brilliant!

Seeing that it's usually quite hard for me to like Harry in quite a number of HD fics but this harry is so... Harry kind of cute. Hahah he's actually more clueless as a human than as a toad. At least Peter can see without Draco telling him that he worries over Peter losing him but Harry just.. haha. but his impulsive actions saved the day!! =) *two thumbs up*

I just adored this! It was hilarious, sensual, and I loved how you worked the plot.

Here are a few things I really loved:

This line made me laugh hilariously - “Well, too bad! I’m staying right here!” The toad tried to cross its arms as well, giving it up as a bad job after a minute of its chubby arms sliding past each other. Oddest toad ever.

Draco could swear its fingers – or whatever they were – were twiddling. – oh my goodness, I can totally see this 

"You know if you pull a stunt like that again, though, I'll piss in your cuppa when you're not looking, right?" - omg I don’t know how that would work, but I laughed a ton at the horrible image

Had Potter always been this deliciously muscled? Being a toad must do wonders for the physique, he thought randomly. –oh wow it must!

This whole little part made my heart skip a few beats!!! - And if Draco thought the days were bad, the nights were even worse. During the day, he could concentrate on Potter’s words, Potter’s laugh or gestures, but at night…at night, he kept replaying over and over again what Potter looked like naked, sitting on his chest, those hazy green eyes staring down at him.
He was going to wank himself raw.
Draco had thought he’d wanted to keep Peter all to himself… It was nothing. Nothing in comparison to this.
He wanted Potter.

I really love this line, because sometimes it is sooo clear even when it is confusing - It was amazing how eloquent a bunch of false starts and hanging sentences could be.

Omg this was hilarious, but gave me very sensual images too! - “For instance, let me show you something I read about that I can do with my tongue,” Harry whispered into his hair, making little shivers run down his body. “It’s amazing what being a toad can do for your tongue muscles.”

Sweet Merlin, Potter’s tongue should be made into a national treasure. – I think most of us agree with that!



again, I really enjoyed this and it was a great story to end my night before going to bed :-)

hello there! its riddlestar. <3 i know who you aaareee! *sings* :P

and this is your first harry potter fic?!! really?!! it was absolutely. amazing. i know this is totally random but i have to metion that i find it a little funny that I started out with Harry potter and moved on to Naruto and you did the opposite. XD

Anyway, i laughed and giggled all the way through. their conversations were just so damn entertaining. Love the vulnerability you brought to Dracos character, its rare to see that in many hp fics. the part where Draco tells Harry he didnt think he would want to see him which is why he never visited was so CUTE.

and Harry.. well, i loved him as Peter, so funny! and at first i was like hes a bit too casual about being a frog, but then im like, omg, he doesn't remember much being a man , no wonder! you did a great job keeping him in character.

ANd i also must mention the detail about Ron and Hermione. i really liked that you made them recognize Harry right away. It made me smile.

You should write more hp fics. ^_^
