that was so adorable. Bear was so cute and came just when draco needed someone to lean on the most. very solid background story (particularly about how rabastan was able to control them), soundly established premises about spells (especially the joint magic), humorous and witty dialogues (especially when draco was talking and Bear was responding). loved the character development of draco, especially how snarky and scared he could be simultaneously. loved the tension in his character - there was a good balance between his strength by day and vulnerability by night. Bear-to-the-rescue and harry-in-a-curtain were very funny. like draco, i could not help but laugh. :D

Draco and Bear really did develop quite a relationship. so much so that I was quite sad when I had to turn Harry back *g*. I did work quite hard on the magic aspect of the story so I'm really glad you thought it worked for you.
