it was a well-written piece on the prompt and managed to stay as close to both canons as possible. the balance between angst and love was lovely. draco was so adorable in his schemes to get to harry: desperate but still classy, sly but sincere, scheming but determined. simply loved how lovestruck he was. ron's rebuffs were harsh and unforgiving but i loved how harry's opinion was the only one that mattered to draco - which is why harry's unintentionally hurtful comments were so hard to read as they easily broke draco. loved the promise at the end. erm, a few grammar errors though, nothing big, easily ignorable. :D

I've been reading through the fics in this fest, and this one really stands out. Good story arc and nice work on their relationship. I loved it.
