Date: 2009-11-02 07:34 pm (UTC)sorry... a bit of flailing there!!
i LOVED this. the story was great (bitter sweet for sure), but gah!!!!!! on the artwork. it is absolutely gorgeous, and i'm insanely jealous (i REALLY wish i could draw something a tenth as well as this was done). the way the colors and the lines were done, it seems so 'soft,' which really makes it seem like something out of a fairytale (that whole dream-like quality). that prolly made no sense... but yeah.
i love all of the picture, but the last one is just pefect. it feels like you can just see the emotion pouring from them, and despite the profile view, you can just see the attraction and how sated they look in their faces and eyes.

Date: 2010-01-03 07:16 am (UTC)I'm glad that you liked both the story and the artwork. Watercolor can be very tricky to work with sometimes, but like you, I adore the softness that it brings to the pictures.
I was worried that the mood of the last picture didn't fit in the rest, so I'm relieved that it worked alright and you like it. Thanks again!

Date: 2010-01-03 07:21 am (UTC)I know what you mean about fairytale and there should be a happy ending. I wish I could give them a happy ending, but this was the only ending that I could come up with that satisfied me. I guess I'm really no good at writing fairytale. :-P
Thank you very much for all the help you gave me. I truly appreciate it.

Date: 2009-11-02 08:00 pm (UTC)And the story was so lyrical and sad and felt so very much like a true fairy tale.

Date: 2010-01-03 07:22 am (UTC)And yeah, I guess I was aiming for a adult-ish, true fairytale, and I'm very happy to hear that you felt it in the art.

Date: 2010-01-03 07:44 am (UTC)Thank you very much for taking the time to comment! I'm very happy to hear that the watercolor worked well with the fairytale theme, and that the Red Riding Hood idea didn't seem too far off. Despite the large amount of time consumed to put the whole thing together, I had a very good experience, and comments like yours have made my day. Thanks again ♥

This is un-freaking-real! So beautiful and delicate and heartbreaking. It is told in perfect fairytale style and the paintings are exquisite. I just want to clear the next few hours and read this over and over and over again.
Thank you for making my week! ♥

Date: 2009-11-02 08:41 pm (UTC)I love the way you do watercolour. The colours are so gorgeous. Other than the very last one my favourite has to be of Draco standing with the castle in the background.
The story was sad. You can't help but wish for Harry to come back especially when you see the panel of Draco being curled up in the woods. This is so gorgeous. I loved it :D

Date: 2010-01-03 09:50 am (UTC)I'm not so sure about it being classic or not, but this project has a special place in my heart, and I had a very unique experience. Thanks to you the story and the art fit together. :-)

Date: 2009-11-02 09:24 pm (UTC)just gorgeous! unbelievably gorgeous. i love, LOVE the seductive harry you've captured. the panels illustrate the story so well, and the poses are so beautiful.
god, i can never say enough about how wonderful your work is. you raise the bar every single time. ♥

Date: 2010-01-03 09:57 am (UTC)You know, the seductive harry has been the one thing that kept me going - I would have given up if I didn't get to draw Harry like this. I'm thrilled to hear that you liked Harry too. :-)
*blush* H/D fanart has a very high standard (which is set by many many talented artists). I can't let myself fall behind. ;-)
