i LOVED this. the story was great (bitter sweet for sure), but gah!!!!!! on the artwork. it is absolutely gorgeous, and i'm insanely jealous (i REALLY wish i could draw something a tenth as well as this was done). the way the colors and the lines were done, it seems so 'soft,' which really makes it seem like something out of a fairytale (that whole dream-like quality). that prolly made no sense... but yeah.

i love all of the picture, but the last one is just pefect. it feels like you can just see the emotion pouring from them, and despite the profile view, you can just see the attraction and how sated they look in their faces and eyes.

I'm glad that you liked both the story and the artwork. Watercolor can be very tricky to work with sometimes, but like you, I adore the softness that it brings to the pictures.

I was worried that the mood of the last picture didn't fit in the rest, so I'm relieved that it worked alright and you like it. Thanks again!

Damn, I was dreading seeing the art for this because I knew it would break my heart, your work always does. Draco is fragile perfection and Harry is all quiet strength. I knew there was no happily ever after, but I want there to be - it's a fairy tale they're supposed to live happily ever after. ;p Even so, this is a magical journey you take us on with your very special brand of achingly beautiful evocative images to guide us to the devastatingly sad ending. Also something you do terribly well.

I know what you mean about fairytale and there should be a happy ending. I wish I could give them a happy ending, but this was the only ending that I could come up with that satisfied me. I guess I'm really no good at writing fairytale. :-P

This is absolutely stunning!! You're able to evoke such atmosphere with only a few simple lines and washes of colour! The transparency of the watercolours really works with the fairytale theme as well-very ephemeral. I thought you did a really good job of integrating H/D with the Red Riding Hood story too; the way it was written was very much in keeping with a fairytale, right down to the tragic ending, but you also used canon/fanon elements, like Lucius's and Draco's relationship, to shape the plot!

In conclusion, you're fantastic, and I love you!

This is soo beautiful. It's so great to see your art again.
I love the way you do watercolour. The colours are so gorgeous. Other than the very last one my favourite has to be of Draco standing with the castle in the background.
The story was sad. You can't help but wish for Harry to come back especially when you see the panel of Draco being curled up in the woods. This is so gorgeous. I loved it :D
