Title: When You Fell Into My World
Artist:
reikokatsura
Prompt: #36: The Little Mermaid
Pairing(s): Main: Harry/Draco, Side: Draco/Astoria, Harry/Ginny
Summary: It was love at first sight.
Rating: R
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. No Copyright Infringement Intended.
Warning(s): AU, Infidelity, Brief Nudity, and Veela!Draco-who-looks-suspiciously-like-an-elf.
Medium: Pencil, PB Photo Editor
Artist's Notes: Where to start? Alright, this piece wasn’t my intended project. I actually started a fic, and got about half-way (9k) before I hit a writing-slump. With a week left to the deadline (the anxiety was setting in right about then) I decided to draw something, instead. Unfortunately for me, I haven’t drawn anything in ages, had run out of paint, and my new computer does not have Photoshop, so I had to use Photobucket’s mediocre photo-editing application with my very mediocre artistic ability. Woo-hoo for mediocrity! Whoever this prompt belongs to, I apologize for not being able to fit in all of your requests! Still, I hope you enjoy this—whatever it is—all the same. Thanks,
identity99 and
tania_sings, for looking over this for me!

Date: 2009-11-08 08:24 am (UTC)Although normally I hate it when they're married already in stories, in this fic somehow it's just fitting. I would have liked it had this been how it sort of actually went in the book (epilogue-wise). I love how Draco seemed a bit naive and too curious, that's just our Draco. And Harry, I felt so sad for him too, actually for both of them, because they're worlds apart... and that's exactly what I wanted to read about!
Draco's letter was perhaps the highlight of the story, it was poignant, and wistful and somehow very sad. Thank you for a wonderful read, and the art was really cute to look at, at all the proper places :D
