Artist's Notes: Where to start? Alright, this piece wasn’t my intended project. I actually started a fic, and got about half-way (9k) before I hit a writing-slump. With a week left to the deadline (the anxiety was setting in right about then) I decided to draw something, instead. Unfortunately for me, I haven’t drawn anything in ages, had run out of paint, and my new computer does not have Photoshop, so I had to use Photobucket’s mediocre photo-editing application with my very mediocre artistic ability. Woo-hoo for mediocrity! Whoever this prompt belongs to, I apologize for not being able to fit in all of your requests! Still, I hope you enjoy this—whatever it is—all the same. Thanks, identity99 and tania_sings, for looking over this for me!

wonderful balance of text and art. interesting and original take on the fairytale. i love the promise in harry's letter - passion-filled and determined in finally having their happy ending. draco's adherence to tradition, sacrificing his life and love, was so tragic. his letter was so heart-broken yet held love greater than the separation that happened. :D

Ah! I loved it thank you! *finally had the chance to read* xD

Although normally I hate it when they're married already in stories, in this fic somehow it's just fitting. I would have liked it had this been how it sort of actually went in the book (epilogue-wise). I love how Draco seemed a bit naive and too curious, that's just our Draco. And Harry, I felt so sad for him too, actually for both of them, because they're worlds apart... and that's exactly what I wanted to read about!

Draco's letter was perhaps the highlight of the story, it was poignant, and wistful and somehow very sad. Thank you for a wonderful read, and the art was really cute to look at, at all the proper places :D

westkitsune, I really loved your prompt. I just had to claim it. I'm only disappointed that I was unable to finish to finish the fiction in time for the fest. Wow! You definitely put a lot of effort into this one. I can completely imagine this as a chapter from a manga. I love the emphasis you give to certain phrases, and the care you took to construct the story and write it out with the accompanying panels. Some of the pictures make me pause, like the close-ups and the panels in succession. The entire thing reads beautifully.
