The Big Reveal!

Apologies for this being extra long!

Despite life being busy, our preference in the fandom being specific (bottom!Draco), and coinciding with a multitude of other events, a lot of you still stepped up to make this fest possible. So we'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you.

First and foremost to Mr. Draco Malfoy, for being such a good sport (despite his Slytherin whining in the heads of our participants) and letting himself be subjected to our whims, bottoming to our desired tops and being our inspiration throughout this whole thing, thank you, our adorably gorgeous muse.

For the other community fests mods including but not limited to hd_worldcup and hd_career_fair, for helping us learn the basics of how to go about in having our first fest, thank you very much.

To webs.com, despite crashing every now and then and such, still served as a haven for some of our fics and art.

To ravyn_ashling and plotting_pen, for the beautiful art that you guys see in our banners, and to lillithium (dadomz for the simple but elegant header from lillithium's perfect art) as well as red_rahl for the use of their art in our community header and buttons, thank you!

Thank you as well to tavia_d, who suddenly and wholeheartedly offered to elevate us to a paid account halfway through the fest! We're still figuring out the perks of being a paid community, so any pointers would be very much appreciated.

To the prompt-givers, who gamely bred 90+ plot bunnies hopping around the community right now, thank you very much!

For all of our viewers, lurkers and commenters, our stats for webpage view reached an almost 800-hits high in most days! Thank you to you guys! We highly encourage you guys go back and leave your comments the fics and art! :D

To everyone who pimped, is pimping, and will be pimping our fics, art and all the crazy little gorgeous things our participants came up with around the world wide web, thank you!

To the beta-s of all our artists and writers, even if you guys were not participants yourselves your silent cheering spirit for our participants went a long way to make this fest happen, so thank you guys!

And of course, the highlight of our first ever fest, the ones who without them this fest would be practically impossible - our 38 participants: The writers and artists who submitted their gorgeous works and pieces for the love of all that is bottom!Draco. Thank you all so so much from the bottom of our hearts.

We're sorry the fest not going as originally scheduled but we did our best to make it last over a month with all the entries we received. We'd also like to apologize again for all the confusion and misunderstandings among participants especially during the prompt claiming. Thank you for being patient with us as this is our first (but hopefully not last) fest. Rest assured that we mods will continue to work passionately for the community, so here's to another fest in the future!

Once again, those who signed up but haven't submitted their entries are still welcome to post their work if and when they finish despite the fest being over.

First fests always have a bunch of unforseen snags. I think you guys did an excellent job. And there have been so many great new fics to read because of it! I can't wait to see what the plan is for the next fest! :) I'll definitely be joining in if I can.
