how is everybody? i myself and i am fine, thank you for asking. its a bit rainy here in london, not liking it very much but im coping, must be used to it by now. although its not really raining here as much as most people seem to think - we get the times, its kind of like monsoon season except its drizzling mostly... love london and its weather really though, they go together like tea and scones. :)

anywayyy, am looking for fics and hope you people can help me find them yes? i cannot, googled, read the saves etc and its not working. am soo good as saving fics and organising them, very unhappy now, i failed...

1. harry is sent to draco's bedroom by hermione, portkeyed really, however you spell it. he doesnt know its happening and finds draco a bit drunk and he tells harry how he feels about him. if you know it you must know what im talking about by now yes?

2. something about draco living in a village and i think it might be non-magical and his roof collapses because its raining soo much. harry to the rescue. the boys dont know each other and harry is new in the village draco lives... pls?

3. this one is oooold! i can barely remember it tbh, but it was non-magical and written kind of like a mystery book. something happens, somewhere and harry comes to investigate. draco and him meet and their relationship develops, amazingly written. snape is a local police officer i think... i really, really need to find this one, it was really good. i think, i can barely remember it like i said but i have a feeling...

thank you! ive got pressies.

2) http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5049275/1/After_the_Storm
3) Paying the Piper (taken offline) (R) by Sansa
(One small town, two murders and countless suspects. Police Chief, Severus Snape, and his reluctant side-kick Draco Malfoy must discover the truth behind the crimes before anyone else loses their life. Circumstances become even more complicated when new kid in town, Harry Potter, turns out to be the biggest mystery of all. Prepare for murder, intrigue and suspense. And, of course, some Harry/Draco slash because I just can’t help myself.)
I've never read (3) but it sounds similar...

The first one sounds like Suitable Options (http://archive.skyehawke.com/story.php?no=11867) by Olivia Lupin.

I have this.

Okay, you can PM me (http://www.livejournal.com/inbox/compose.bml?user=hidders) for this fic. I don't need an email address, just put the fic name somewhere in the message; subject-line or body.

'Me too' comments will not be answered

Wasn't there a HD fest fic that had an eerily similar summary? Or am I just mixing them up in my head? It's TOTALLY bugging me now...

No clue; I'm not much of a non-magical Harry Potter fan.

Oh...hmm. I'm probably just imagining things then. ^^;; This is what happens when you read a LOT of HD fanfiction! *loves*

(Actually, me neither, but sometimes I don't mind if it's like epically awesome or something. ;D)

I understand how many fics blur into one alright.

(Agreed. If I had to read another one where the boys are normal high school students I think I'll end up ripping my hair out. But something epic and new, I can live with that.)

Haha, I usually skip right past those high school non-magic AUs now because they usually turn out to be bottom!Harry rather than the way we like it! >_< Besides, part of the appeal for Harry Potter fanfiction is the magic, right? And unfortunately, the majority of non-magic AUs are written crappily. Or just REALLY CLICHED.

P.S. Part of the epically awesome fics is the magic. ;D Usually some magical mishap that happens to our favorite pairing.
