Hey, I'm looking for a Harry/Draco fic that I quite vaguely know the details on, so I do apologize if this seems like little to go on, but here it goes...

What I remember of the fic is that somehow or some way Draco was stripped of his magic, and at one point in the story after Harry and Draco come together there is this moment when Draco is basking in the magic radiating from Harry, nearly in tears with his loss and hunger for the same feeling of warmth.

Alrighty, that is what I know.  Scant, I'm aware, but please, if anyone does remember I would be very thankful for any help.

On a side note, if you can't find me that, I'd love any fic recs for Harry/Draco with a down and out Draco.  I simply love that sort of "after the war Draco's life is miserable and he runs into Harry" thing.

For down and out Draco I recommend Slytherella by alexis_sd although it contains mpreg so dont read if you dont like that sort of thing

I just took a moment to read Finite Incantatum and that isn't the one I'm thinking of, but thank you very much for the recommendation. I think the fic I was looking for was post-war or something, and Draco was significantly more miserable than in that fic.

But again, thank you anyway, and I will be sure to give Slytherella a looksee.

There is also Redeem Me by Samayel, but I'm sure you must have read it before, but if not, you really must, Draco was abused by three Death Eaters and in the brink of death goes to find Harry, asking for salvation or death, the Harry in this story is just as broken, so its like they are both healing each other... here's the link

I think the fic you're looking for is "Burning Day" by Ravenna. It's a brilliant story, with lovely BDSM themes.
